Overview
The Kedarnath and Tungnath Yatra is a spiritually significant pilgrimage to two of the most revered Shiva temples nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, is a sacred site located at an altitude of 3,583 meters, reachable via a challenging trek from Gaurikund. Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world at 3,680 meters, is a relatively shorter trek from Chopta and is part of the Panch Kedar.
