The journey begins with a scenic drive from Guwahati towards Bishum Phudung, passing through Tenzin Gang, Bomdila and Dirang before reaching the peaceful riverside setting of Bishum Phudung. The adventure continues with a 5–6 hour forest trek to Ganglok, following local trails through dense forests, shaded paths and open grazing grounds. The following day takes you deeper into the wilderness to discover three sacred waterfalls – Sapchang, Sangma and Dirshing – before returning to Bishum Phudung. The route then changes from forest trails to open mountain scenery as you travel towards Sangti Valley and Dirang, with opportunities to explore Dirang Dzong, the old village, Dirang Monastery and the TDL Monastery viewpoint.
