Experience the diverse landscapes of Sikkim on this 6-night, 7-day Himalayan journey covering Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake, Nathu La, Lachung and the spectacular Yumthang Valley. The tour begins with a scenic drive from Bagdogra/NJP through the tea gardens of Bengal and alongside the Teesta River before reaching Gangtok. Explore the lively atmosphere of MG Marg and continue with an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir and the optional Nathu La visit. The journey then moves towards Lachung, with scenic stops at Butterfly Waterfalls and Singik Viewpoint along the way. From Lachung, explore the breathtaking Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the Valley of Flowers, where alpine meadows, mountain rivers and seasonal rhododendron blooms create a spectacular Himalayan landscape. The return journey to Gangtok includes Tashi Viewpoint and Ganesh Tok, followed by a full day exploring Gangtok’s waterfalls, monasteries, cultural centres and viewpoints. Visit Bakthang Waterfall, Ranka Monastery, Banjhakri Waterfalls, Chorten Stupa, the Institute of Tibetology, Flower Exhibition Centre, Handicraft Centre and experience the Gangtok Ropeway. The trip concludes with a scenic drive back to Bagdogra through Sikkim’s valleys and Bengal’s tea gardens.
